Nabil Richani
B. 1960, Lebanon
Nabil Richani graduated from the International School of Choueifat in 1979 and obtained his Master's Degree in Horticulture and Floriculture from AUB in 1985. Later, he enrolled in the Lebanese University and earned his BA in Fine Arts in 2009.
From 2001 to 2012, Richani participated in various solo and group exhibitions showcasing his sculptures and paintings. Some notable exhibitions include The Choueifat Old Souk, Eco Art, Aley Sculpture Symposium, Deir El Qamar Open House, Rassif El Fann in Choueifat, Muntada Insan's exhibition 'Fann w Lawn', and ISC Art for a Good Cause in 2018 and 2019. He also had the opportunity to participate twice in the Arab Cultural Society. He was commissioned by the Saloua Raouda Choucair Foundation to create wooden artworks based on the late artist's designs for their museum
Furthermore, in 2017-2018, Richani participated in 'Free Standing', an exhibition featuring the top nine sculptures in Lebanon curated by the renowned critic César Nammour.
