Illustrated with some of Lebanon’s greatest modern artworks, the exhibition revisits Beirut’s pre-Civil War times – an era often described as Lebanon’s “golden age”.

The exhibition displays four artworks from MACAM’s collection (Michel Basbous, Joseph Basbous, Salou Raouda Choucair, and Dorothy Salhab Kazemi), and over half of the 300 archival documents on display (posters, brochures, invitations, photos…) are from MACAM’s archives. We are honored to have contributed to this fascinating reading of Lebanon’s pre-war history.
