Biennale of Contemporary Art
The first Biennale of Contemporary Art was inaugurated at MACAM-Alita/Jbeil on September 11, 2017, with the exhibition of the Oscar Niemeyer Contest, following the tradition of international art biennales like in Venice, Istanbul, and Singapore. The second aspect of the Biennale will be spectacular screenings of Asian and Mediterranean films that could be presented in the city of Jbeil. Renowned film directors will be hosted and prizes will be awarded to the winning films.
