Saba Sadr
B. 1987
Saba Sadr is an Iranian-Lebanese artist who splits her time between Beirut and Los Angeles. Her artistic journey started at a young age when her father, a household painter, introduced her to the world of art.
Throughout her life, Sadr has traveled to different countries such as Iran, Japan, Switzerland, the United States, and Lebanon. These travels have greatly influenced her work, as she draws inspiration from natural elements, landscapes, animals, and people she encounters along the way. After initially pursuing architecture, Sadr decided to refocus on her artistic passion and pursued the Advanced Painting program at UCLA and the Studio Arts program at the American University in Beirut.
In 2014, Sadr participated in a sculpture competition at MACAM and emerged as one of the three winners.
