Christelle Daccache

B. 1984, Beirut

Christelle Daccache obtained her master's degree in Fine Arts from the Lebanese University. Her art works have been showcased in numerous collective exhibitions throughout Lebanon, where she has gained recognition for her work. In 2010, she was honored with the Best Young Artist award by the LAAPS association at the UNESCO Palace.

Daccache has actively engaged in various workshops, including the "Hiwar Fanni" program organized by the German exchange program DAAD, which provided her with an opportunity to exhibit her work in Berlin.

From a young age, Daccache demonstrated a strong affinity for art. At the tender age of three, she was captivated by a watercolor set and immediately began exploring its possibilities. She fearlessly colored the entire front yard of her house, driven by her innate curiosity and desire to express herself artistically.

For Daccache, nature represents an open book created by God, and she believes that through connecting with nature, we can rediscover the divine language that was once lost. This understanding of the intricate relationship between art and nature has shaped her perception of the world.

In addition to her exploration of nature, Daccache finds inspiration in self-portraiture. She finds that painting herself brings her closer to her own identity and inner self.

Through her artistic endeavors, Daccache strives to communicate her deep connection with nature and the human experience, using art as a means to express her innermost thoughts and emotions.
