Nabil Basbous

B. 1963, Rachana

Basbous Nabil Born in Rachana, Lebanon in 1963, Nabil Basbous pursued his studies in archaeology at the Lebanese University before honing his engraving techniques in Italy, particularly at Pietrasanta.

Since 1999, he has been teaching at the Fine Arts department of the Lebanese American University.

About his Work

Nabil Basbous is renowned for his monumental sculptures, which can be found in various cities across Lebanon and even outside the country.

His artwork has been exhibited in Europe, Mexico, South Korea, and the Middle East. He actively participates in local and international art events, earning numerous awards and recognition for his contributions to the field.
